| Constructed of a hollow glossy soft rubber, filled with birdseed, then plugged (plug mark will not show when juggled). The DX ball will not bounce when dropped and is completely waterproof. This is a truly unique ball; part stage ball, part squosh bean bag. The innovative construction allows the ball to maintain a round shape while still being soft and easy to catch.

I really like size and weight (68mm) of these but not particularly fond of the finish or the stiffness of the ball.
When throwing multiplex the balls have a tendency to stick together. You have to pay attention to splitting these balls more than others. That said, the stickiness of the ball can be beneficial in other ways.
The 5 I ordered, half came with visible seams. Over all good hybrid ball but I think I prefer the MMX Plus (70mm) on this site. | | juggfire rated this item 3 out of 5
There is no problem with juggling them. They are very good for three ball. Have not tried 5. The shell of the ball is very uneven thickness wise. Some areas are very thin and others are very thick. The shell is also very stiff. They do roll away quite easily as well. I do not like the feel of them in my hands at all. The color on this website is pretty deceiving as well. They are very dull. They also scuff very easily. After 2 days of playing with them I had a white mark on them and now there are 10 or more.

Mmm, finally balls that feel great! They are small enough for fit in the hands, heavy enough for the juggler to realize he's juggling something and colorful enough to delight the crowd. However, the color choices are not nearly as bright as the online pictures. The green is a beautiful green - but not the picture, same with the pink. Also these balls tend to pick up smudges (like black shoes in gym class) really quick. How quick? Well the first time I dropped a pink ball it picked up a streak from the carpet. The green is proving more resistant, so it seems to be a matter of color choice. And before you say it - no it isn't a matter of washing them. These black smudges are more resilient than herpes. Clorox and a scour pad make a dent but one can still see the marks. One of my balls is also lumpy and out of round when compared with the other 4. But not so much as to detract from usefulness. This is my OCD talking. But can't a man have uniform balls?! :P Would I buy them again? Absolutely, but I'd change the pinks to something else, and I wouldn't bother with priority shipping as it took them 6 days to arrive - overnight my cascade. | | Tyler rated this item 5 out of 5
The perfect combination of a stage ball and a beanbag in my opinion. Not to heavy, not to light. They plug area is not noticable by any means and the color looks great. I have had these for almost 3 years, and in that same time, have gone through 3 sets of beanbags. Great for performance or practice. These balls are pretty good. They have a really nice weight and look. The only downside is that they are sort of sticky. They stick to eachother and your hands a little bit. Overall, its a great ball. | | The Omnipotent Juggler rated this item 4 out of 5
This ball is really wonderful, I love its durability and they look great. The only problem I have with it is that it is a little harder than I was let to believe, I just barely got them and they have seemed to get softer since then, so maybe they just aren't broken in.
