So, you’re ready to take on the one wheeled monster,
the Unicycle. There are a few of things to consider when purchasing
your first Unicycle including your inseam, your wheel size,
the seat post height and most importantly how you intend to
use your Unicycle.
Your Inseam Length is determined by measuring the distance
from the floor to your crotch (for your baggy pant customers,
we are not talking about the crotch your pants). Remember
when measuring to wear shoes which you plan to wear while
ridding. This measurement is your Inseam.

What to remember:
Large Wheel = Speed, and fewer revolutions when riding (less work).
Small Wheel = Easier to maneuver.
This size is great for small children.
This 20” size is are good unicycles for adults who want
to acquire new skills and great for performers who want to
maneuver with greater ease.
We’ve found the 24” Unicycle to be very versatile.
You can do tricks and still ride longer distances on this
model.
We’ve had many customers buy a size
Unicycle than their inseam wouldn't’t suggest. Many riders
want to have the versatility of the larger wheel, or the maneuverability
of the smaller wheel, but their inseam won’t allow it.
This is when the seat post comes into play. Larger wheeled
Unicycles posts can be cut down, while smaller wheeled unicycles
can handle longer seat posts. Keep this in mind when deciding
which wheel size fits you!
It takes the average person between 10 and 15 hours of practice.
Every person has a different learning curve, some people learn
faster, and some require much longer.
When you're seated on the Unicycle with one foot on a pedal
in its lowest position, your leg should be almost straight.
